The Holidays are approching like a runaway freight train! Get Ready!



There is a little paragraph on our gallery, Frankfort Glass Works in the October issue of DownEast Magazine. They didn't tell us they were here but we were delighted with the mention! We were also interviewed by The Republic Journal in July and were featured in a 1/2 page article. We will be posting those articles on the site soon. I was interviewed by ArtJewelry Magazine last week; the results will be featured in the March issue in an article on teaching. If you would like copies for your gallery or just to read let us know and we'll send them along.

We're honored that images of our work will be used by the New England Products Trade Show in their marketing for the 2005 show as well.

We will be open weekdays all winter and weekends from now until Christmas. We will be holding a year end sale on the weekends of December 4/5, 11/12 & 18/19! We'll have special prices, snacks and door prizes! Our gallery offers many specials year round on seconds and inventory overstock. These may be items in an experimental color, items Nancy just doesn't feel meet her standards for her Wholesale customers but are lovely nonetheless, or extra items from a large production run. These are offered at an extraordinary price! During Jan., Feb & March we'll have limited weekend hours so please call for info before your visit during those months.

This summer we've had customers from Maine, PA, NY, WI, NH, NJ, Nova Scotia, OH, CT, FL, AZ and RI! Thanks for visiting!

UGotGlass.com updates

Greg has come up with about 14 new patterns this summer including Stars, Celtic designs, Dragonflies, Butterflies, Boxes, Bats, Shogun Wallpaper and so many more I can't think of them...... we will be featuring these in our work as well as offering many to other glass artists.

My email Glass@GlassOrchids.com was down in mid-September so if you emailed me during that period I never got it! I'm sorry for this inconvenience! I don't know what caused the problem but, in general, if we don't respond in 48 hours then we didn't get your email! I'm the email queen and live on the net!!!

We don't offer classes in December because we are usually too busy filling retail and wholesale orders for last minute holiday sales! We sometimes do private classes during the holidays so email or call if you need classes during this time. January is usually available too as it is our quieter time... although NO time is quiet for us!!! Bizniz is growing!! Thanks to all of you!

I want to thank Janet and Jim of Glass Express in Waterville, ME for hosting my dichroic glass class on November 6th. The space was wonderful and they even bought us Pizza! Shows

Arianna was eliminated during the first round in the YuGiOh tournament in San Diego this summer but she had a problem with her game cartridge! In any event, 1/2 the kids had to be elimaneted anyway and this gave us a chance to go to the San Diego Zoo and Disney Land! She won lots of prizes and gained valuable experience too. She was interviewed by Shonen Jump and is mentioned in the October issue along with a picture of the whole crew!

November - LAST SHOW FOR 2004! Holiday Inn by the Bay in Portland, ME the day after Thanksgiving and that Saturday! Wholesale customers welcome to come by and see the line. We'll bring extra work if you want to take cash and carry for the holiday season!

We're working on our 2005 schedule now! We do know that we'll be doing the Boston Gift Show April 2-5, The New England Products Trade Show March 19-21 at a new location, the Portland Sports Center, The Seattle Gift Show Jan 29 - Feb 2, The San Francisco Gift Show Feb 5 - 9 - Cheryl Cohen will be representing us on the Left Coast again this year.

Apple Green, Purple and Blue are in but Pink continues to be in demand.

These colors are a regular part of our jewelry but we will continue to add products to highlight the increased demand for particular colros. We've added bracelets and earrings in a new light pink and a magenta to spark your interest in pink and our Apple and Lavendar bracelet is enjoying an increased interest.

These feature images derived from Crop Circles, Celtic Knots, Kokopeli, Japanese family crests and other popular teen symbols such as 420!

These retail for $15 each! Greg does all the graphic work and transfers the images to the dichroic glass right here in our studio. We could tell you how he does it but then we'd have to kill you. These come on a satin cord and feature either a sterling silver plated bail or an 18K gold plated bail depending on the overall color of the pendant.

We've also just introduced a line of single color pendants for just $12 each! These are available in a wide range of patterns and colors and come on a black satin cord. Also feature either a sterling plated or 18K gold plated bail.

BARGAIN DICHRO IS BACK

The manufacturer called and offered us a deal too good to pass up so we're letting you in on our good fortune. This is dichroic second run glass; glass is rated seconds for many reasons, including: the color is not the exact one desired, the pattern is a little smudged or off in some small way, they made too much of that color etc....BUT it's still beautiful dichroic glass and it's offered at bargain prices! The last time we had this glass it sold out in less than 24 hours and we had twice as much last time so ORDER NOW!

Each pack contains 1 piece radium/clear, 1 piece fibroid, asst colors in clear and black. About 12 or more 2x4 sized pieces. As the pictures show, it's almost a square foot of scrap dichro! Pieces are relatively square or rectangular with few if any angled or rounded pieces. $40 per pack.

Please note that we will fill orders on a first come, first serve basis.
