Dichroic Mezuzot

These mezuzot are
approx. 4 1/2" long and 1 1/2" wide. They attach to your doorway using
screws (supplied) through the wire loops embedded in the glass. The
mezuzah shown above is in reds and golds; also available in greens/golds,
blues/purples and in black with a myriad of colors. Other images will be
uploaded shortly. A machine printed scroll is also included. Kosher scrolls are
not provided because they often cost as much as the mezuzah itself. If you would
like to purchase a kosher scroll please check with your local synagogue or
Judaica shop, one of the online Judaica stores to order or click the highlighted
word 'mezuzot' above in this paragraph..
Each is a one-of-a-kind. Mezuzahs are fired twice, once to fused all the
colors together and a second time to form the space to hold the scroll.
Often I am asked if they can be placed on the outside doorframe where they
will be exposed to the sun. These mezuzahs are fired in a kiln at 1400
degrees.... if it gets that hot outside the last thing we'll all be worrying
about is whether or not the mezuzahs are melting <smile>. The cold won't
hurt them either.
A lovely, handcrafted mezuzah makes a wonderful wedding or holiday gift that
will be cherished by the recipient for a life time. It's a nice treat for
yourself as well.
